"If I were ever limited to doing but one tennis program, this would be the one that I would choose." - Coach Scott, 25+ years experience, Manchester & Nashua programs and Mindful Mentors

I have been teaching tennis for over 25 years and have been involved with many programs, including teaching at the YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, director of tennis for the city of Nashua, teaching at private clubs, and now working with the Advantage Kids program. It has been a life-changing experience for me. The program is not just about learning tennis but through yoga and meditation, the children have been able to have a connection with their inner- selves. They have learned that through reflection, quiet, and serenity in a peaceful spot, and discovered in their hearts and minds, that they can cope with outside stress and pressure that can be overwhelming during these difficult times. Some of the children reached out to us to tell of difficulties that they encounter in their everyday lives. The fact that they are able to feel that comfortable with their coaches and instructors is such an amazing, humbling, and gratifying feeling. We have some families that travel over an hour to come to the programs. The parents have come up to us and expressed their thanks and gratitude upon seeing their children’s faces, as they experience new friendships and the joy of learning through tennis and Yoga. They are so appreciative that complete strangers can care enough to help them and to offer these wonderful programs to their children, and at no cost! Advantage Kids is rewarding beyond what we coaches could ever have expected. If I were ever limited to doing but one tennis program, this would be the one that I would choose.
