Mountain Tennis was established twenty one years ago to bring great tennis friends together from across NH. Concord, Conway, Tamworth and Sandwich players started the battle in hopes of taking home “Da Rock”, a scrap slab of Swenson Granite representing the grit of our intrepid athletes. Dana took Da Rock home in 2003 and was the inspiration for this event from its inception.
Dana had many passions and achievements in his life, but tennis defined him in so many ways. He grew youth tennis in many forms leading camps, clinics, and private lessons as Mt. Cranmore Pro or Tamworth tennis guy.
Players compete through the afternoon on multiple clay courts in a doubles scramble counting individual game wins.
2023 marks the second year that we will hold a women’s division, and the interest is filling up spots quickly.
This year will be the SIXTH year as an Advantage Kids fundraiser, requesting a donation to Advantage Kids, developing youth tennis and education in NH.
